River Leadon Improvement Project gets Green Light

Partnered by the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust the Severn Rivers Trust have gained funding via the Catchment Partnership action fund (CPAF) for a major restoration project on the Gloucestershire River Leadon. Working with the Gloucester Angling Club, Environment Agency and Landowners, the project will deliver improvements in habitat for fish and wildlife, create wetland areas and reduce diffuse pollution. The programme of work includes riparian management, livestock fencing and watering facilities, coppicing, wetland creation, introducing woody debris, in-stream structure, plus fish and Eel migration easements.
